M.B. Laboratories Ltd is a full-service analytical chemistry and microbiology laboratory. We offer diagnostic and analytical services to a wide variety of professionals, businesses, consultants, private citizens, and government agencies in British Columbia and across Canada. We are a small company with a highly trained, professional staff. Our services are utilized by a large number of municipalities, governments and water districts for the routine monitoring of food, drinking water, wastewater, treatment plants & specialized troubleshooting.
We are currently seeking a motivated, eager individual to join our team of professionals as a full-time Data Entry & Administrative Assistant. This position is entry level and will report to the general manager. You will be responsible for facilitating the production and delivery of client results, as well as customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and facilitate the formatting of analytical reports in accordance with established guidelines and procedures on a daily basis
- Ensure all test codes are entered accurately and rapidly such that turnaround times can be respected and client satisfaction maintained.
- Expected to be cross-trained in the administrative side of the company’s quality assurance & control programs.
- Provide support to other members of the administrative team.
- Maintain a clean work area at all times.
- Follow and maintain the organization's quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Facilitate and initiate the process of continuous improvement.
- Follow all laboratory safety rules and regulations.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications:
- Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task accordingly
- Strong computer & keyboarding skills a must
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be reliable, responsible and motivated, capable of working in a team
- Energetic personality that can manage, and enjoy working with stress and tight guidelines in a professional manner.
- Must be available to work core hours -- 8:30AM to 4:30PM, Monday – Friday
